5. Something is seriously wrong with Chelsea FC. How many players have Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs signed so far?

27. TT knows exactly what hes doing looking at the names we're shopping for, including Ake. Links to Ake may seem a bit out of the blue, but in fact he is premier league proven or at minimum suited, Dutch international now with experience, part of a PL winning team easily in their most successful span and with arguably their best coach ever, he's a Chelsea graduate so he also gets quota for ''trained at club'' and in addition would likely make De Ligt and his own settling at the club that much easier… not to mention the long term prospect of having 2 out the potential 3 starting centre-backs of Netherlands in the starting 11 at Chelsea… which would respectively increase the likelyhood of them actually becomming NL preferred centre back choices. Also Ake know Sterling whos reportedly on the doorstep at the Bridge which is another factor of good peice of business that could be. Also , lets not forget how much of a football NERD TT is (said in the best possible manner) and have trust in his dudgment for a player he has been monitoring since his time at Dortmund (2015–2017) which rounds roughly to 5 years now. Finally, Tuchel has proven a lot of his expertieses infront of a very demanding Chelsea fan base/audience and has already broken several defensive records, so I think we have every reason to be relaxed about him sorting the defence. For me the big questions should be posed over the attackers, where seemingly TT and the new owners have secured one of the best possible additions to the squad – Raheem – straight up a Marquee signing(lets use one of the new buzzwords of this summer: ), which again should only give us reasonable hopes to belive that more good is to follow – . Hopefully our pull with increase after each signing is complete so we can continue building at the same levels and pace… just hoping we'd not end up shopping for leftovers.

    On the Raphina deal, I don't see it happening for Barcelona before they've concluded major departures as well as registering players they've already signed with. In reality they are reluctant to offer 35m EUR for Lewandowski – and rightfully so – hes not comming on cheap/reduced wages, nor would be Christiansen or F.Kessie (all three arriving from major European clubs and would be asking for their fair share of the pie) and they need to be very careful with how they spend and sale. As far as I am aware the financial injection for their 10% LaLiga rights would only cover losses from the previous season, so I would be super interested to see how they compete with Chelsea bid of around 70m EUR (~60m GBP). What I think their ball game is they'd show enough interest in another winger so they pressure on Dembelle to sign his new reduced contract at Barca because this would be one of their not many options to register their squad, balance their books and potentially sign a few of the bigger names they are after. Let's do not forget Barca need defenders – just as much as Chelsea – and are looking at new Centre, left and right backs and I sincerely doubt that Xavi would start rebuilding upfront before he's sorted his defensive options. So if Raphina is to go to Barca he'd probably have to wait for another month before that would be possible and I hope he'd loose patience by then, rrealize Barca will not be the same place it was for the past decade and then accept and sign his blue contract for brighter future 😀
