Samantha Bond responds to fans after being seen ‘shaking’ on Loose Women

Samantha Bond responded to fans on Twitter who were concerned about the actress’ well-being after she appeared to be “shaking” during her Loose women appearance Monday.

The 61 year old man Miss Moneypenny the star was visibly in some sort of malaise as she chatted with the show’s panel – Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolanrue Janet-Porter and Kelly Holmes – about his latest TV series.

Starring in new thriller, The Inheritance, Downton Abbey joined the ladies to explain why she was so interested in the ITV the project’s storyline – however, caught the attention of fans for a very different reason.

Loose Women watchers flooded Twitter with messages of concern after noticing the actress was shaking as she spoke.

One wrote: “Can anyone check on Sam. Although very articulate and beautiful, she was shaking throughout the interview. THANKS.’

Another said: “I hope Samantha is ok. She shook throughout this entire interview x’, while a separate account noted: ‘Watching Samantha bond with loose women. Why is she shaking so much? I hope it’s just nerves and she’s not unwell.

‘Why is Samantha Bond shaking so much? #loosewomen’ asked a concerned fan on the platform now known as X.

Shortly after, Samantha took to the comments again and set the record straight by replying to the messages and offering reassurance that she was not suffering from a long-term illness.

She wrote via her personal account: “Frozen shoulder. Nothing worse. X.’

The actress went behind the scenes of the drama filmed in Kilkenny, Ireland, and revealed that a difficult director meant the change took longer than it should have.

“That wouldn’t happen on Downton,” she told Janet as she recounted her work late into the night after dining with the local cast.

The new Channel 5 show is a four-part thriller and also stars James Collier, Kevin Whately, Gaynor Faye, Jemima Rooper, Larry Lamb and Father Ted’s Pauline McLynn.

The Legacy was created by Doc Martin writer Aschlin Ditta and tells the story of three feuding siblings fighting over a will after the death of their father.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV1.
