The Metropolitan Police have arrested a man after allegations he confronted Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Footage circulating on social media appeared to show the aftermath of an incident involving Keane and colleague Micah Richards. Arsenal Overcome Manchester United.
Sky Sports confirmed the incident saying Richards attempted to “defuse” the situation, adding that the alleged assault immediately preceded the footage being shared on social media.
Keane and Richards made statements to the I met the police.
The alleged incident took place after Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United.

In an earlier statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “Police are investigating following an assault which allegedly took place at the Emirates Stadium during an Arsenal v Manchester United match on Sunday September 3.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
