The countdown has officially started for Olivia Rodrigothe second album of, Gut. The singer, whose highly anticipated project drops on September 8, has been on a press tour of epic proportions. This week, Rodrigo stopped by Sirius XM in appropriate attire for his “vampire” single.

Downstairs, Rodrigo’s look was very schoolgirl chic, a niche she settled into quite comfortably. She wore a white tennis skirt and black loafers with high white socks. But that’s where the singer leaned towards the vampiric (though more Dusk that Dracula). She wore a white T-shirt printed with a photo by Martin Schoeller from the early 2000s Angelina Jolie licking the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Rodrigo completed her look with oval Prada sunglasses and a cherry red (or should we say blood red?) lip. But contrary to vampire tradition, she wore thick silver earrings – something any vampire aficionado knows is a big no no.

Bad idea, right? The singer is known for referencing her own work with her outfits. In London, she wore a red Magda Butrym mini dress that remember in his days High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. She also enjoys a cultural touchstone, from her Distraught reference at the White House for her Pat Benatar t-shirt. With Gut almost out, we’re eagerly awaiting what’s next in this sartorial era of Olivia Rodrigo.
