Inter Miami will hold a special ceremony to present their historic League Cup trophy ahead of their next MLS game at home.
The MLS club, co-ownership of David Beckhamlanded his very first piece of silverware on Saturday night after an incredible run to the Coupe des Ligues final, inspired by the arrival of summer Lionel Messi.
Miami triumphed Nashville SC in a dramatic penalty shootout, which ended 10-9 after Drake Callender saved compatriot Elliot Panicco’s kick.
To celebrate their memorable title, Inter Miami will present the trophy to their fans ahead of their next home league game, the club announced on Sunday.
Inter Miami then return to Fort Lauderdale on August 30 when they ironically face Nashville again, this time in the league.

Before that, Messi and co. are back in action on Wednesday as they pursue another quest for US Open Cup semi-final silverware at FC Cincinnati.
The team then resumes MLS action – and its aim of qualifying for the playoffs – with Messi’s league debut in New York against the Red Bulls on Saturday, before finally returning home on August 30.
On Saturday night, Messi scored early in regulation and converted the opening shot into a penalty shootout as Inter Miami beat Nashville SC 10-9 on penalties in Saturday night’s League Cup final.
Messi scored for the 10th time in seven games since joining Inter Miami, converting in the 23rd minute.
The ball landed at Messi’s feet after a pass from teammate Robert Taylor was blocked.

Messi dribbled past Nashville defender Walker Zimmerman and fired a bending shot from just outside the penalty area into the top left corner of the goal. Diving keeper Elliot Panicco had no chance to play the ball.
Nashville fans had booed Messi in his previous touches, but the stadium erupted in joy when the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner who led Argentina to the World Cup crown last year brand.
Messi fired a shot from a similar position in the 71st minute but hit the post as the teams played to a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Messi calmly converted the opening shot on penalties as Miami claimed their first trophy – and their 44th.
