  1. This is the result of bad recruitment of players. Whole 11 useless besides the young players . Clear out and start afresh .

  2. Keep it real, George! It has been a tough go and Chelsea has been much worse than hoped. I think resetting expectations that this is a proper rebuild and will have some bumpy times ahead is necessary. The problems that the squad had prior to Tuchel's sacking have not been fixed by some band aid signings and a new manager. I'd like to see what Potter has, as I think he inherited a tough situation. I was supportive of Tuchel's sacking because of the way he lost the dressing room and threw players under the bus in the media, but perhaps that was short sighted. I hope that having a technical director in with a proper football vision will help, and that Potter will have a hand in the building process so they are aligned and get players that can operate in a strong system, much as Brighton are doing now. It is a boring and frustrating product on the field right now, but I'm hoping for a surprise bounce-back performance against City today. COYB!!!

  3. Could perhaps sneak a draw, if nobody's looking . . . but it'll be seriously tough.

    There are ready made excuses.
No Reece James or N'Golo Kante, nor the crocked young Albanian striker Armando Broja, for a lengthy period to boot.

Perhaps Mateo Kovacic will wake up frisky and full of dribbling, but nevertheless, Raheem Sterling is showing some of his World Cup form and he'll relish the scrap against his old team; and, the ever faithful Thiago Siilva gets a chance to shine again.

If The 'Young Guns', Kai Havertz, Mason
Mount and Dutch-born Moroccan Hakim Ziyech decide to actually live up to their talent and, World Cup hype, that"ll encourage young Conor Gallagher to score another truly welcome goal against Manchester
City like last season, while on loan at Crystal Palace.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is going great in goal, so just maybe Chelsea have little to fear, if they hit the ground running.

    All fingers crossed!!!

  4. My Eleven: 3-4-1-2

    Kepa
    Chalobah Koulibaly Silva
    Azpi Jorginho Kova Cucurella
    Mount
    Havertz/Pulisic Sterling

  5. No Manager, or Team can stop Haaland….legally :0)
The Man is a Goal Scoring Machine and if he stays long enough, is going to shatter Shearer's PL Goal Scoring record.
I am actually envious of City for having him and not us and I am sure I am not the only one feeling that way.

  6. I would play Chalobah at right back instead of Azplicueta and Zakariah to partner Kovacic in the mid

  7. I think Man City dropped this season because they really rely on Haaland. It is not a good thing because the opponent knows how you play and easier to defend. So they have a draw game with Everton. They are not playing what they have in the last season. If potter rotate the team, start Pulisic and Sterling and bench Mount and Jorginho as well as having a good substitution plan, the game ends very likely with a draw. Despite the bad result recently, I think Potter knows how to rotate, which is better than TT. I am not that pessimistic in this game.

  8. George benson, use Azbi????? then we have lost that side already. I want younes starting 11 go watch his video he is talking more sence

  9. XI: Kepa, Cucu, TS, KK, TC (cuz of speed)
Kova, MM, Zak (2nd half – Carney)
HZ, Auba (2nd half KH) n Omari (2nd half – CP)

  10. If we get battered then surely questions must be asked about Potters ability to get the best out of this dysfunctional bunch of players

  11. We have fallen down so much our injuries are appalling we are in a mess 4 or 5 nil potter will suffer what a pathetic team we have

  12. I think as poor as we are, we do raise our game a bit for the top teams, or at least are harder to beat anyway. Arsenal didn’t trouble us too much. We might all be happy with a narrow 0-1 defeat tonight

  13. I haven't commented before…but I have to today Chelsea need to get right back because this James injury is getting worst by the day… instead of Chelsea to get a right back they focusing on players like Enzo Fernandez, I'm tired of seeing Chelsea spending and we are not seeing any results….how many center forward have gone down the road..we might get Enzo Fernandez but I'm afraid he might end of as a flop…. sorry I'm expressing my thoughts

  14. We need Pulisic to start.. we need one dribbler to hold the ball upfront and i cant see that with sterling.. he loses ball even in 1 v 1..
