It’s not what Pakistan would have imagined in the first game of this third game ODI series. The Pakistan coach wanted them to score at a good pace, take risks and be aggressive but they could hardly do any of that when they came knocking here on this slow wicket. No hitter other than Imam-ul-Haq really shone with the bat for them. Without his half-century, things could have been worse for Pakistan. Also, Imam-ul-Haq was lucky at his side as he missed many shots but some landed safely, while on a few occasions the Afghan defenders couldn’t get him well. judging but other than that Afghanistan would be really happy with their effort with the ball as it is the first time they have put Pakistan together in an ODI game. Pakistan have their work cut out for them though and their bowlers need to bring their A-game here.
