Yes it was cringy, yes the lines were awful, but in all honesty his voice makes no difference, some people in the past would have also had voices as high pitched as Beckham, but it all comes down to the lines, if he was given better lines he would of gotten away with it but the delivery was just off and I personally blame the director for the lackluster performance due to evidently bad direction in line delivery, not Beckham.

A prime example of someone who's deluded enough to believe that his global success at kicking a bag of air around a football pitch grants him automatic acceptance at something which takes talent and an aptitude which he clearly doesn't have. All this serves to do is add weight to the perception of Beckham as a squeaky voiced dimwit. God only knows what Guy Ritchie must have thought when he saw the rushes of Beckham's performance because this also brings into question his competence as a film maker. Ritchie's known for his crime films – well, Beckham's woeful cameo here is no doubt the biggest crime Ritchie's ever committed to the screen.

15. They could have improved the scene by having Victoria in the background woods having a squidgy, medieval dump. Then the focus would have been taken away from his B&Q floor workers voice.

If you want to comment on anything comment on the fact that they did not speak English back in those days, it would have been a mixture of French, German, Danish and mainly the Welsh Language.
