10. The only picture that i want to keep from this game is this tiny girl before the game. We played much better & the ref whistled 9 fouls(only 2 were fouls from 40 meters distance) in 20 minutes out of penalty area.I was so pissed after the match.

12. I've never really understood why England make such a big deal of this game? They were already guaranteed a play-off before kick off. In Germany the attitude going into the Finland game was very laid back and they knew there was only a slim chance of meeting a team capable of beating them over a two leg play-off.

28. Nearly 20 years ago, this game was so frustrating. Typical England qualification nonsense, I was revising for me GCSE's and my parents were watching the game in the Living Room, I was popping in and out. I'll never forget being in my room and Mum saying "Gav, I know you're angry but Beckham has got a free kick in a good position, probably the last kick of the game!" I was being a sulky teenager and ignored her lmfao.

34. Having watched that game live on TV, I would have never remembered Beckham had taken not one, or two, or three but nine (9!) free kicks from the edge of our box. Most of them awarded for simple nudges. He was bound to score one of them.
