  1. In Erik Ten Hag we trust!
Why do you think we got Eriksen? So that ETH could play Bruno in front of him as an auxiliary striker.
And once we get rid of Ronaldo, we will start to see the Bruno that we bought

  2. It’s good I found this channel because I want 2 become a football manager and it’s broadening my football knowledge

  3. He could be, but always loses the ball. He is si frustrating to watch. It's like he thinks he has to get rid of ball inmediately after he receives it. And not only he loses the ball in the opposition side of the pitch, he also loses in out side of the pitch and we have conceded many goals because of him losing the ball in dangerous positions for us

  4. he won't. because he is not a motivated player with strong will. he is also wasteful with the ball. for some reason, there are many players like him in man utd that are still there since mourinho days. he is a player that only plays well when they are winning the game but not able to turn the corner with the team when things get tough.

  5. I find this confusing. If these roles are determined by what the players do, how can maradona and bruno both be trequartistas? They are so different, and bruno can't carry the ball or dribble to an elite level. I think to say a trequartista does more than eganche is quite vague. It should come down to common attributes and behaviours, no?

  6. one point though, ten Hag's previous Ajax setups indicate that instead of specializations that you mentioned, he likes versatility in his 3 midfielders. also I think Bruno doesn't fall into those luxury free roaming (sometimes low defensive work-rate ones like Messi or Neymar or Ozil) roles because even though he has had that freedom, he often has shown decent defensive work-rate, though erratic due to lack of exact defensive instruction. I think he can be a far better player if he is given a more structured thing to do when defending. Coming back to ten Hag's midfield, I think the versatility and defensive work-rate he demands, he might develop a midfield more akin to imagining a midfield of Prime form Keane-Scholes-Carrick.

  7. Another player who can play as a trequartista is di Maria…
That will be his role in juventus

  8. Interesting analysis.

In my mind: false 9 was some dropping off in between the lines (firminho); kaka was a central winger who used top speed direct dribbling from deep in counter attacking sides; false 10 started in the 10 and then mainly looked to used timing to get on the end of goals or looked to shoot from range rather than create if they picked up the ball deeper (eg Gerrard, Lampard, muller, dele); Inverted winger cuts in on to strong foot; free role goes where they want and others evolve their movement around this players idea of the game (eg Neymar & Messi), but their importance in the team needs to allow for this.

  9. Unpopular opinion, however IF we are playing a 4-3-3 with Sancho Martial Rashford for example, I don't want Bruno playing behind them. Not unless he is told to strictly work as part of the midfield 3.

For the last 2yrs specifically Fred and Mctominay have been dogs abuse because of how they have performed in the midfield, however when you take into account the frequency in which Bruno relinquishes his position, this means Fred and Mctominay have more space to cover and 9/10 they are outnumbered in midfield. It's happened time and time again.

His own personal G/A has been great but whetr has that got us? I want united to have a solid midfield that can compete with at least 18/20 other premier league sides – get the ball to the front 3 and let them work their magic.

  10. I don't really see a similarity between Kaká and Bruno because Bruno needs to touch much more on the ball than other players

  11. Yeah I can see bruno play as a trequartista consider he is a good playmaker and goal scorer is just that this day a trequartista or classic no 10 is demanding to be good at defending the ball too some of the example player are Kevin de bruyne, Mason mount and luka modric

  12. Lol! You still have McFred in midfield – so you don't believe in Eriksen? I'm 100% sure Eriksen will play most games this season instead of Mctominay or Fred. If De Jong is bought – which doesn't seem likely at the moment though – McFred will go to the bench.

  13. Great content. Well explained. One thing though: kaka was never the best in the world. He was among the best but never the best

  14. When a player plays with his heart on his sleeve, he becomes an instant hit with fans
