Rita J. Runyon is the president of TRC Entertainment a full-service firm that provides talent management, public relations and web services. Under her leadership, TRC has provided consulting services to Fortune 500 companies as well as artists and production companies in the entertainment industry. A strong commitment to the goals and objectives of her clients are the primary qualities Ms. Runyon enlisted to build this firm.

Ms. Runyon has extensive expertise in developing and implementing Strategic Marketing and Creative Public Relations Plans. She has developed and executed successful market research campaigns for divisions of Coca Cola, McDonalds Corporation, Chase Manhattan Bank, Quaker Oats, Campbell’s Soup Company and other companies prior to her focus on entertainment public relations.

Born in India, Ms. Runyon has lived in 4 countries. Both of her parents have Doctorate degrees and between them have authored over 75 non-fiction books. She began her career in marketing and before she was twenty-five years old, developed a line of skin care & cosmetics, founded a public relations firm and purchased a market research company.

Ms. Runyon's producing credits include A BORDER STORY directed by Tobias Louie. She executive produced the independent film MEGALOMANIA adapted from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. The black & white short, stars Ian Abercrombie (Seinfeld), and Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live). She produced WAR PRAYER inspired by “The War Prayer” written by Mark Twain. The intense, atmospheric short received Best Director honors at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and won Best of Show and Best Drama awards at the Rebel Planet Film Festival.

She produced 2 benefit productions of Eve Ensler’s THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES as part of the world wide campaign of VDAY. The all-star cast included Susan Blakely, Sally Kellerman, Amy Hill, Doris Roberts, Denise Crosby, Donna W. Scott, Joyce Van Patten and other celebrities, with all proceeds benefitting Sojourn Services for Battered Women & Their Children and Break the Cycle.

Ms. Runyon is a frequent guest lecturer and is a member of the National Association of Female Executives and the American Association of University Women. As a member of the Market Research Association and American Marketing Association, she guest lectured at both association’s national conventions and at numerous regional conferences. She was asked to speak at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Conference to impart her knowledge, to their directors from across the country, on the art & science of fund-raising for charities. Ms. Runyon also appears in several editions of Marquis Who’s Who.

Ms. Runyon serves as a Director on several Boards and is also very active in other community/civic affairs volunteering her time to many charities. Ms. Runyon was judicially appointed as an Officer of the Court working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate representing the best interests of children.
