
Paula Kupiec has worked many years in the healthcare field. Over the course of nine years, she directed the Admissions at Sherman Oaks Hospital and the management of registrations, coding and chart management for the Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute of Sherman Oaks Hospital. Sherman Oaks Hospital offered care for medical/surgical, ICU, orthopedic, immune-suppressed patients, oncology patients as well as victims of burns in the world-renowned Grossman Burn Center. Building relationships with the patients made her work fulfilling and personally rewarding.
After leading the Foundation through successful Dreams on Canvas events, the Board of Directors elevated Paula to the role of Executive Director in October 2007. She has welcomed this new position with a drive to assist the community and provide more services for burn survivors, seniors and caregivers.
With her many years of service in healthcare and her own grandmother’s diagnosis of Dementia, Paula Kupiec is committed to serving the families in our community. Through the programs of the Circle of Care Foundation, Paula sees the potential of providing support for burn survivors, seniors and their family caregivers. As the Executive Director of the Circle of Care Foundation, Paula is able to put her many years in the healthcare field and her personal family experiences to use in providing care for other families where they need it.
