Award winning Bruce Neckels has 40 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry. His acting credits in numerous film, television and stage productions brings another level of creativity to his writing.
He has scripted more than 700 episodes for television earning three EMMY® nominations and Bruce won the Writers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Script in a Daytime Serial for DAYS OF OUR LIVES.
It is his tireless, dedicated efforts in civic and community affairs for which Bruce will be remembered. He is a Director on the Board and served 2 years as the President of The Studio City Chamber of Commerce and is the Chairman of the CBS/SCCC Fireworks Festival for the 5th year in a row.
Bruce was honored to receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award with a note of congratulations from the President of the United States.
Bruce is married to Wendy McIntosh Neckels, a former television director now working in real estate for Windemere Real Estate. They have a teenage daughter, Erin and all happily reside with several 4-legged members of the family in Los Angeles.
